The Technology Behind the Ride
Choosing the right technology is a key step in the process of developing a new electric bike. Every component must meet our high standards for performance, reliability, and ride quality. After extensive testing, we partnered with FSA (Full Speed Ahead) and designed our e-gravel bike around the refined E-System HM.2.
The updated motor delivers 40 Nm of torque smoothly and naturally, right when you need it. Paired with a 250 Wh battery that delivers up to 70 km of real-world range on mildly hilly terrain, it’s perfect for everyday rides. For those looking to go even further, a 180 Wh range extender is available, boosting total range to 120 km.
Equipped with FSA Team 30 I23 wheels, the Zénith delivers solid performance across all types of roads. Its lightweight aluminum frame and carbon fork keep the total weight at just 31 lbs, ensuring sharp, responsive handling.
Hand assembled in Montreal
The Zénith GRX 12 is designed and hand assembled with care in our Montreal headquarters, as are all our e-bikes. A team of dedicated and highly skilled Opus employees make sure that every bike coming off our assembly line meets the highest standards of quality. Each bike is accompanied by a detailed quality control checklist, covering key inspection points that must be verified and signed off before it is ready to ship to your local dealer.
We take great pride in the fact that some members of our local assembly team have been meticulously building and inspecting bikes in our warehouse since our very first models in 2001. The collective knowledge we’ve gained over the years locally building road bikes, mountain bikes, and now focusing on e-bikes allows us to continually improve our designs with every new model we launch.
