INTRODUCE YOUR CHILD TO THE JOY OF CYCLING

A first bicycle is something kids never forget. It marks the beginning of independence, outdoor adventures, and a lifetime of riding. Whether it’s a family weekend ride, a trip to the park, or the commute to school, cycling helps children stay active, build confidence, and have fun getting there.

The Opus Curve is designed to go wherever kids want to go, it features a lightweight alloy frame, a durable steel fork, kid-friendly brake levers, easy-to-use shifters, and all-purpose tires. It comes in three sizes (16″, 20″, and 24″) to grow alongside your child.

Choosing the Right Size

Many parents look for a bike their child can “grow into,” but the wrong size can work against them. Finding the right fit sets your child up for success. A properly sized bike means they can touch the ground easily, handle confidently, and enjoy every ride from day one.

It is important to fit a bike according to the child’s size.

The best starting point is measuring your child’s height and inseam with feet flat on the floor and no shoes on. If they fall between two sizes, let their experience with bikes guide you: beginners do better on the smaller size for control and confidence, while more experienced riders can step up.

Quick-Fit Checklist

Before your child’s first ride with a new bike, run through these basics:

Feet on the Ground

Seated, your child should be able to place both feet flat on the ground (toes down is fine for 16″ bikes with training wheels, or for taller, more experienced riders).
