SHIMANO IS ISSUING A VOLUNTARY RECALL OF SOME BONDED 11-SPEED HOLLOWTECH II ROAD CRANKSETS (PRODUCED BEFORE JULY 2019) IN NORTH AMERICA, FOR A POSSIBLE BONDING SEPARATION ISSUE.

Some models of Opus bikes from 2013 to 2019 were equipped with affected cranks.

Shimano has issued guidelines for inspecting affected cranksets and replacing defective ones. To learn more, click here.

SAFETY RECALL / STOP RIDE NOTICE
FOR THE OPUS CONNECT LRT AND WKND LRT DELIVERED IN 2023 AND EQUIPPED WITH RIDEREVER BRAKES.

The RIDEREVER brake lines may have a seal that is missing or incorrectly seated which could eventually lead to a fluid leak at the lever. Though we have not had any reports of issues, since consumer safety is our priority we ask that you temporarily set aside your bike if it takes part of the recall and contact your dealer for details on performing an inspection on it.

REPLACEMENT NOTICE FOR DISC BRAKE CALIPERS ON OPUS HORIZON CLARIS QR 2021-2022

There is production issue with Opus Horizon Claris QR 2021 and 2022. The brake calipers fitted are the incorrect version. The version of the calipers can be identified by markings on the underside. The correct ones have the code C310. The incorrect ones are marked U310.

Though we have not had any reports of problems, since consumer safety is our priority we ask that you immediately stop riding any bike with the incorrect calipers and contact your dealer for details on replacements.
